How to prepare for the first consultation

The first appointment is far more productive if you arrive with the papers to hand. These three steps save time and avoid a second appointment just to complete the documents.

  1. Gather the documents in the case

    Notices and decisions received (with the date of notification visible), contracts, deeds, accident report forms, medical reports, complaints or administrative files. The envelope or the proof of notification matters as much as the document itself: that is where the deadlines come from.

  2. Note the dates and the deadlines

    When the events happened and when you received each communication. With fines, immigration matters and administrative proceedings the time limits are short and cannot be extended, so that is the first thing the firm checks.

  3. Book the appointment by telephone or WhatsApp

    A day and time are agreed at the office at Carrer del Freser, 104. Say which language you would prefer to be seen in; if you need to be seen in Arabic, say so when booking so that it can be arranged.
