There is no figure here, because there honestly cannot be one. There is something more useful: what determines the compensation under the scale (the days, the points for permanent effects, the loss of earnings, contributory fault and the insurer's offer) and what to do right now.

The internet is full of legal calculators that return a confident figure without saying where it comes from. In a law firm that will not do: an estimate that is read as a promise does more harm than giving none at all. That is why these three tools have been built to a strict rule.
Every result links to the page explaining where it comes from, so that you can check it for yourself. And where a figure depends on the year or on the particular case, you will find an explanation of what it depends on instead of a number that would mislead you.
The two calculators you will not find here, and what there is instead
The two most frequent searches (how much is due for a road traffic accident and how much buying a home costs on top of the price) have no calculator on this website, and that is deliberate. In their place there are two pages explaining the whole mechanism, which is the only thing that can honestly be given.
Compensation for a road traffic accident cannot be calculated here. The accidents guide warns that it does not publish the amounts in the Ley 35/2015 scale because the tables are updated every year, and that the points for permanent effects, which is where almost everything is decided, depend on a medical report. A calculator for this would give a figure that would almost never match the real one, in a matter where people take important decisions. What there is instead is the page on what determines the compensation for a road traffic accident: the heads that are added together, where money is lost without anyone noticing and what to do in the first few days.
The costs of buying and selling a home are not there either. The guide to buying and selling explains that it does not publish ITP or AJD percentages because the regional rates and the reliefs change frequently, and because on the price of a flat the difference between the general rate and the reduced rate is not a small one. The rate in force is checked with the Agència Tributària de Catalunya before signing, not on a website. What there is instead is the page on the costs of buying and selling a home: which items are involved, what each depends on and who pays them.
Where the figure exists and is stable, there is a calculator here. Where it does not, there is a full explanation and a telephone number.
What they are and what they are not
- They are rough estimates. They are not legal advice and do not replace the study of a specific case. No figure that comes out of here binds the firm or predicts what a court or a public authority will decide.
- They collect no data. The whole calculation happens in your browser. There is no form that is sent, no server that receives anything, and no registration. The checklist ticks are saved only on your own device and can be cleared with a button.
- Every result shows its working. Not just the final figure: also the days counted, the caps applied and what has been left out. An estimate that cannot be checked is no use for arguing anything with anyone.
- The particular case always governs. A collective agreement, a defect in a notice or a different starting date changes the result completely.
