At Ajuridic we work on specific problems, not on theory
Ajuridic is the firm of Noemí Ampurdanés Parés, a solicitor registered with the Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Barcelona under number 22359, with more than thirty years in practice. The firm sees clients at Carrer del Freser, 104, in the heart of El Clot: the street runs off Rogent and is a few minutes from Camp de l'Arpa, La Sagrera and Navas.
Almost nobody arrives here with an abstract question. They arrive with a notice of a City Council penalty that expires in twenty days, with an immigration file that has been stuck for months, with an inheritance to be divided between siblings who no longer speak, with an accident that has left permanent effects and an insurer offering less than is due, or with a divorce that is best settled without breaking up the family relationship entirely. At the firm we start there: with the document that has been received and with the date that sets the time limit.
The commitment is to explain the matter in plain language, to say what can be sought and within what time limits, and also to give warning of when litigation is not worth it. A well-informed client makes better decisions, and in many cases the best decision is not the longest or the most expensive one.
Ajuridic is a general practice firm by choice, because the same person may need an insurance claim today and a will tomorrow. Where a matter calls for a very particular speciality or for action outside Barcelona, the firm draws on its network of notaries, court agents and specialist solicitors, so that the client always has the same point of contact. The usual area of practice is Barcelona city and the surrounding region, and the whole of Spain where the proceedings require it.

A small firm with long experience
There are no departments and no intermediaries: whoever hears the case at the first consultation is the person who handles it afterwards.
More than 30 years in practice
Three decades of practice before the Barcelona courts and before the municipal and immigration authorities. Experience shows above all in anticipating time limits and in knowing what each body asks for.

Direct contact
You speak to the solicitor, not to a call centre. Telephone and WhatsApp on the same number, and a reply that gives the real state of the file.
Four languages
Spanish, Catalan, English and Arabic. Arabic by appointment. In immigration and family matters this avoids misunderstandings that prove expensive later.
From first contact to instruction, with no surprises
-
First contact
By telephone, by WhatsApp or through the contact form. Three things matter: what has happened, what document has been received and what date it bears, because the time limit depends on that date.
-
First consultation
A meeting, in person or by telephone, to hear the case and assess it. Out of it comes a clear answer on whether there is a legal case and which route has the better prospects.
-
Instruction and plan of action
Before anything is done, we explain the strategy, the steps planned and the scope of the instruction. The firm does not publish a price list, because every matter is different: fees are agreed before we start, never afterwards.
-
Handling and follow-up
Filing documents, negotiating with the other side or with the insurer and, if need be, court proceedings. The client knows at all times where their file stands.
What comes up most at the firm
Six situations that arrive day in, day out, and what is done about them.
The question we are asked most: whether there is still time
Almost every enquiry starts the same way, and almost always with a letter that has been sitting on the table for days. The first thing we look at is what time limit is running and when it counts from.
When you have already been told there is nothing to be done
Sometimes that is true and sometimes it is not. If a matter has no prospects, we say so on day one: charging for a case lost before it starts is easy, and it is not how we work here.
Papers nobody can make sense of
Notices from public authorities, letters from insurers, requests from the immigration office. Half the first appointment is translating the document and saying what it asks for, who is asking and by when.
The insurer's first offer
It usually arrives before anyone knows how the permanent effects will settle. It is best not to sign yet: a settlement closes the claim, including losses that are not yet known about.
Who handles the matter afterwards
Whoever hears the case at the first consultation is the person who handles it. In a small firm that is not a slogan: it is the only way of working that is possible.
The language you can explain it in
Spanish, Catalan, English and Arabic, the last of these by appointment. In immigration and accident matters it makes a real difference: telling clearly what happened is half the claim.
